LA 16 (Pete's Highway), Lane Closure - UPDATE

LA 16 (Pete's Highway), between LA 1034 (Vincent Road) and I-12, in Denham Springs, will have daily lane closures in both directions beginning on Friday, June 19, 2015, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, and Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm (weather permitting). One lane will remain open at all times and will allow thru traffic. These lane closures are necessary to allow crews resurface the roadway.
Motorist may take LA 3002 (Range Road) or LA 1026 (Juban Road) as an alternate route to avoid these lane closures.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
