PROJECT UPDATE
SPN H.009185: I-12 (Northshore/Airport Road – US 11)
April 24, 2015
There will be alternating and intermittent left inside and right outside lane closures of I-12 Eastbound and Westbound between Northshore/Airport Road (Milepost 80.55) and US 11 (Milepost 83.85) Thursday, April 30, 2015 through Saturday, May 9, 2015 (weather permitting) between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM while crews perform road construction and install concrete barriers.
Additionally, there will be a complete closure of the US 11 on-ramp (Milepost 18.18) to I-12 Westbound (Exit 83) beginning on Monday, April 27, 2015 through Tuesday, April 28, 2015 (weather permitting) from 11:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid construction delays, Eastbound motorists may take LA 434 (Exit 74), south on LA 434 to US 190, east on US 190 to US 11, north on US 11 to I-12.
Westbound motorists may take US 11 (Exit #83), south on US 11 to US 190, west on US 190 to LA 434, north on LA 434 to I-12.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times. By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night.
