LA 594 and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Ouachita Parish

Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Monroe, LA will be closed from its intersection with Harvester Drive to its intersection with LA 594/Millhaven Road beginning Monday, April 6, 2015. This section of MLK Jr. Drive passes underneath the US 165 overpass and provides access to LA 594/Millhaven Road from US 165. The purpose of this closure is to allow the reconstruction of the railroad crossing, the construction of new turn lanes, and to provide a signalized intersection at this location. Access to local businesses will be maintained throughout the closure. The costruction project is estimated to take 4 months to complete.
LA 594/Millhaven Road will experience lane closures and will be restricted to one lane of traffic at times during this construction project.
