LA 4, East of Winnsboro in Franklin Parish, 1 mile west of the intersection of LA 4 and LA 578, will continue to be closed effective April 1, 2015. The extension of this closure is necessary because previous inclement weather has delayed completion of this construction. This current closure will remain in effect until approximately July 1, 2015 while crews complete the work for the bridge replacement
The alternate traffic routes are LA 863 to LA 578 to LA 4.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution near the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
