Road Closure I-49 from LA 1 to Martin Luther King, Caddo Parish

Motorist are being advised that beginning on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 road work will commence to place concrete barrier rail on the I-49 Bridges over LA-1 at the intersection with I-49. LA 1 at the intersection with I-49 will have nightly road closures. The road closures hours will be between 8:00 pm to 5:00 AM. The work hours will coincide with the road closure hours between 8:00 PM to 5:00AM.
This work is anticipated to last approximately four (4) calendar day, weather permitting.
Alternate Route:
All North bound traffic on LA 1 to detour north US 71 then west LA 538 to north LA 1.
All South bound traffic on LA 1 to detour east LA 538 then south US 71
All I-49 southbound traffic to detour exit at LA 173 then east to US 71and travel south US 71 to Shreveport.
Restriction/Permits
All restrictions are applicable for LA 538.
