Notice of Upcoming Construction: I-10 (East Baton Rouge)

Coastal Bridge Co. LLC will begin an overlay project on I-10 in Baton Rouge. The project will take place on I-10 between Washington Street to the KCS Overpass (Just West of Perkins Road). Work will begin Friday March 20th at 11pm. Work will consist of milling the existing surface followed by a Asphalt Overlay.
The Contractor will be allowed to close one lane in each direction with the following restrictions:
Westbound and Eastbound:
Sunday - Thursday 9 Pm - 5 am
Friday - Saturday 11 pm - 7 am
The Contractor will be allowed to close two lanes in each direction with the following restrictions:
Westbound:
Monday - Thursday Midnight - 4 am
Eastbound:
Sunday - Wednesday Midnight - 4 am
Work should be complete in May of 2015 weather permiting.
A minimum of one lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
Motorists should expect delays and be prepared to stop.
This project will allow vehicles 10 feet wide or less to pass through the construction zone during closures.
Work is subject to change depending on adverse weather conditions.
