SPN H.010618: LA 433 (Bayou Bonfouca Swing Bridge Permanent Repairs)

REVISED
There will be a full road closure of LA 433 (Bayou Liberty Road) at the Bayou Bonfouca Bridge (Milepoint 8.5) effective immediately continuing through 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Friday, February 13, 2015 while crews perform bridge repairs (weather permitting).
There will also be a full road closure beginning Monday, February 16, 2015 from 6:00 a.m. continuing through Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. while crews continue bridge repairs.
Intermittent closures should be also be expected daily for bridge openings between 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. to allow for marine traffic to pass.
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid the bridge closure area, motorists travelling Eastbound on LA 433 should detour to US 190, East on US 190 to US 11, south on US 11 to LA 433.
Westbound motorists should detour to US 11, North on US 11 to US 190, West on US 190 to LA 433.
LA 433 (Bayou Liberty Road) between US 190 and Bayou Bonfouca will be open for local traffic only.
