UPDATE: 6/1/2015 The lanes have been reopened and two-way traffic is back to normal. Note that minor work is still occurring at this location so be aware of the construction workers and flaggers as they finish this area.
UPDATE: 1/23/2015 The overpass has been further reduced to one-lane traffic until further notice. Please be aware of the flaggers and temporary traffic signals which are in place to assist traffic across this overpass.
LA 577 at Waverly in Madison Parish will be reduced to 10' wide lanes on the I-20 overpass. This will effect northbound traffic more than southbound traffic as temporary concrete barrier rails have been installed on the south east approach to this bridge. This lane reduction will remain in effect until further notice as the contractor continues to do scheduled construction work on the slopes and approaches.
