US 61 (Airline Hwy) East Baton Rouge Parish

US 61 (Airline Highway) in East Baton Rouge Parish, between Highland Road and Baringer Foreman Road, will have a single lane closure in both the northbound and southbound directions from 7am on Saturday, January 10, 2015 until 7pm on Sunday, January 11, 2015. One lane will remain open in both the northbound and southbound directions at all times. This lane closure is necessary for the placement of temporary concrete barriers along the outside travel lanes along Airline Highway as part of the Antioch Road Extension Project.
There are no vehicle restrictions and no detour is necessary. The closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD and DPW appreciate your patience and remind you to please drive with caution through the construction site and to be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
