Behrman Highway @ intersection of Carol Sue Avenue - Jefferson Parish

Intersection of Behrman Highway and Carol Sue Avenue will close beginning on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 9:00pm, and ending on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 6:00am
During the closure the following detours will apply:
• Carol Sue Avenue traffic will be detoured to Oakwood Drive to Guardian Avenue to Park Place Drive to Carrollwood Village Drive and back to Carol Sue Avenue.
• Southbound Behrman Highway will be detoured to Holmes Boulevard to Oakwood Drive to Guardian Avenue and back to Behrman Highway.
• Northbound Behrman Highway will be detoured to Park Place Drive to Carrollwood Village Drive to National Avenue to Niagara Circle to Nile Street and back to Behrman Highway.
The closure is necessary to install a 72” RCPA Drain Pipe and 12” waterline across Behrman Highway. Boh Bros Construction Company is performing the work. This project is a part of the Oakwood/Terrytown Drainage Improvement at Carol Sue Avenue at a total cost of $4,167,928. All work should be completed January 12, 2015, barring any contractor delay and weather permitting.
