I-20 Richland Parish at LA 17 (Exit 153) Delhi Interchange

UPDATE: 2/13/2015  As of 4:00 PM today, all lanes of I-20 at the Delhi Interchange are open.


UPDATE: 1/26/2015  As this work continues, the lane restriction has been modified to 16' maximum width in both directions.


The left lane from approximate mile post 152 to approximate mile post 155 in both the eastbound and westbound directions of I-20 will be closed on Monday, January 5, 2015 and will remain closed until Monday, February 9, 2015. All exit ramps to LA 17 at Delhi will remain open during this. All entrance ramps to I-20 from LA 17 will remain open during this.

The purpose of this closure is to allow for scheduled median construction improvements.

Restrictions:
During this lane closure, the westbound entrance ramp to I-20 from LA 17 will be restricted to 12' maximum width.

During this lane closure the westbound direction of I-20 will be restricted to 12' maximum width.

During this lane closure the eastbound direction of I-20 will be restricted to 16' maximum width.

Detour:
No formal detour has been established.

Westbound wide loads will be rerouted in order to exit at LA 577 (Exit 157 - Waverly) to US 80 then to LA 609 to bypass this area.
There are various optional exits in order to get to US 80 which includes Exit 186 - Delta, Exit 182 - Mound, Exit 173 - Richmond, and Exit 171 - Tallulah.

Eastbound wide loads will be rerouted in order to exit at LA 609 (Exit 148 - Dunn) to US 80 then to LA 577 to bypass this area.
There are various optional exits in order to get to US 80 which includes Exit 132 - Start, Exit 138- Rayville, Exit 141 - Bee Bayou, and Exit 145 - Holly Ridge.
