LA 1203; Pineville; Rapides Parish
Mile Post 3.13; Control Section 369-02
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1203 in Pineville, Rapides Parish, will be closed at the Union Pacific Railroad track. The work is being done on LA 1203 approximately 0.25 miles west of the intersection of LA 1203 and US 71 in Pineville (Milepost 3.13; Control Section 369-02). There will be intermittent daytime closures on LA 1203 starting on Thursday December 18, 2014 and ending on Sunday, December 21, 2014. Union Pacific Railroad will be replacing rail through the crossing and adjustin,g the approaches to the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. There will be no detour due to no State Routes connects to LA 1203 passed the railroad crossing. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
