LA 451 Humburg; Avoyelles Parish
Mile Post 30.04; Control Section 374-03
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 451 in Hamburg, Avoyelles Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done on LA 451 approximately 0.01 miles east of the intersection of LA 451 and LA 1 in Hamburg (Milepost 30.04; Control Section 374-03). The closure will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 6:00 AM with a reopening to traffic at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2014. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the track panel and the crossing surface.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 451 to LA 1 to LA 451. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
