Road Closure, Russell Road Closure, I-220 to MLK Drive, Caddo Parish

Motorists are being advised that beginning on Monday, December 15, 2014 road work will commence to widen the I-220 Bridge over Russell Road.
Russell Road will be closed to traffic in both directions at the intersection of Russell Road and I-220 Bridges. This work is anticipated to last approximately fourteen (29)months, weather permitting. The work should be completed by May 10, 2017.
Alternate Route:
All traffic will detour on LA 173 to Martin Luther King Drive,
Detour signs are posted to direct motorists.
