The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1250 in Pineville, Rapides Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done on LA 1250 approximately 0.10 miles west of the intersection of LA 1250 and US 167 in Pineville. The closure will be Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 6:00 AM with a reopening to traffic at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the track panel and the crossing surface.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 1250 to LA 3100 to US 167 to LA 1250. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
