[Revised] Notice of Upcoming Construction: LA 427 (East Baton Rouge/Ascension)

Barber Brothers Contracting Co. will begin work on LA 427 approximately from LA 42 to just past the Ascension Parish line in East Baton Rouge Parish the week of December 1st, 2014. Work will consist of milling and asphalt overlay, pavement patching, drainage, and associated work.
Contractors will be allowed to close a lane from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am the following day Monday thru Thursday and from 8:00 pm Friday evening until 6:00 am the following Monday morning. Contractor will be allowed to work during the day during the week if no lane closures are required. Work should be complete sometime in March 2015 weather permitting.
A minimum of one lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
Motorists should expect delays and be prepared to stop.
This project will allow vehicles 10 feet wide or less to pass through the construction zone during closures.
Work is subject to change depending on adverse weather conditions.
