The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Friday November 14th, 2014 at 8:00 PM, weather permitting, construction work will begin on US 165 (South Masonic Drive) in Rapides Parish from US 71 (Traffic Circle) to Horseshoe Drive. The project will consist of asphalt pavement patching, cold planing of asphaltic concrete, asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work. The construction is expected to last approximately two months and alternating temporary lane closures along US 165 can be expected throughout the duration of the project.
Permit/Detour section
Local and through traffic will be maintained at all times. Therefore, there are no designated detours at this time.
Starting Saturday, November 15th, 2014 and lasting the duration of the project, no loads greater than 14’ wide will be allowed through the construction site during the weekends.
