Lane Closure on La. 70 east of the Sunshine Bridge

Starting Monday (today), November 10, there will be intermittent lane closures on La. 70 in both the eastbound and westbound directions in the 1/2 mile, four (4) lane divided section of La. 70 east of and adjacent to the Sunshine Bridge. This is needed for the construction of a turn lane to aid those traveling eastbound making a "U" turn going to La. 44 (River Road). Single lane traffic and "U" turn manuevers will be maintained during this construction. This work is expected to be complete by Friday, December 12, 2014.
