The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 480, Natchitoches Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done on LA 480 at the intersection of LA 480 and US 71 in Campti (Milepost 17.57 and Control Section 305-30). The closure will be Monday, November 10, 2014 from 7:00 AM with a reopening to traffic at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 10, 2014. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the track panel and the crossing surface.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 480 to US 71 to LA 3163 to LA 480. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
