Terrebonne Parish- LA 3087-Prospect Street Lift Bridge---NOW OPEN

The Prospect Street Bridge crossing Bayou Terrebonne on LA 3087 in Houma, LA will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day beginning Monday November 10, 2014 until Friday November 14, 2014. The closure is needed in order to allow LADOTD’s contractor to repair, adjust and re-test certain electrical and mechanical components as part of the multi-million dollar bridge replacement project.

Alternate routes available around the closure of the LA 3087 Prospect Street Bridge are:

Northbound; East on LA 24 to Presque Isle Bridge to LA 659 west or West on LA 24 to Howard Avenue Bridge (LA 661) to LA 659 east

Southbound; East on LA 659 to Presque Isle Bridge to LA 24 west or West on LA 659 to Howard Avenue Bridge (LA 661) to LA 24 east
