The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, road construction work will begin on LA 1220, in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, from its junction with LA 119 to Little River Bridge for approximately 2.9 miles. The scope of work includes cold planning asphalt, in-place cement treated base course, superpave asphaltic concrete, drainage structures, and related work. The project was awarded to the low bidder, Madden Contracting Co., LLC (Minden, LA), in the amount of $1,160,860.12.
Permit/Detour section
Local traffic will be maintained at all times but there will be periodic lane closures and minor delays associated with this work.
