LA 838, Ouachita

Beginning Monday, November 3, 2014, LA 838 in Ouachita Parish will be closed 5.1 miles east of the intersection of LA 546 and LA 838 for approximately 2 weeks. This road closure is required to conduct routine bridge maintenance.
All vehicles must detour using LA 546, I-20 and LA 617. Vehicles are restricted to 20-35 tons due to a posted bridge on LA 838.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
