The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development invites citizens to attend a public information meeting offered on the proposed changes to the Earhart Expressway and Causeway Boulevard interchange.
Date/ Time: Thursday, November 13, 2014 • 5:30 to 8:00 pm
Location: Pontiff Playground, 1521 Palm Street Metairie, LA 70001
The public is invited to attend any time between 5:30 and 8:00pm to view information, ask questions and offer comments. The original environmental process concluded in 2008, but a subsequent traffic study indicated that targeted traffic congestion could result from the locally preferred interchange design. Additional traffic flow improvements have been identified and a supplemental environmental process has been initiated. Comments from the public and stakeholder agencies regarding potential environmental effects associated with the revised project designs are welcomed and encouraged. All written statements and/or comments may be submitted either at the meeting or within 10 calendar days following the meeting:
