SUBJECT: Lane Closure. US 71/LA 1, (Market Street) Bridges over ICG Railroad in downtown Shreveport in Caddo Parish, next to Festival Plaza, southbound lanes. Structure# 053-09-08942 and 053-09-08944. Lane closures for new relief joint for both structures.
This is to advise that on Sunday, October 19, 2014, the US 71/LA 1 (Market Street) bridges over the ICG Railroad, in downtown Shreveport, Caddo Parish, next to Festival Plaza will be reduced to two (2) lanes of traffic. The two right lanes will be closed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and the two (2) left lanes will be closed between the hours of 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. This work is being done to cut new relief joints for both bridges.
Alternate Route: This closure will allow vehicles 25 feet wide and smaller to pass through the construction zone. Larger vehicles must detour using US 71/LA 1 (Market Street) southbound lane bridge located next to this bridge.
