LA 428 (General DeGaulle Drive), East from LB Landry Avenue to Holiday & West of Shirly Drive, Orleans Parish

Eastbound, LA 428 (General DeGaulle Dr.) from LB Landry Ave. to Shirley Dr. and LA 428 West from Marr Ave. to LB Landry Ave., alternating single lane closures, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM Wednesday, September 24, 2014, for corrective asphalt grinding.
The on-ramps to US90B East and West from General DeGaulle Dr. will have temporary closures as work progresses on the ramps.
ALTERNATE ROUTE TO US 90B West: Turn left at Hendee St., cross Terry Parkway, and merge onto ramp to US 90B West.
ALTERNATE ROUTE TO US 90B East: U-turn at Shirley Dr., turn left onto General DeGaulle Dr. East, merge right onto US90B East.
The flyover ramp from US 90 Business West to LA 428 (General DeGaulle Dr.) East will also be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 9:00 PM.
ALTERNATE ROUTE: The LA 428 (General DeGaulle Dr.) West exit ramp to LA 428 East will remain open during the flyover ramp closure.
This closure will allow vehicles up to 12 feet wide to pass safely through the work zone.
All lane closures are weather dependent and may be canceled in the event of inclement weather.
