East and West Lane Closures on I-10 Mississippi River Bridge - East Baton Rouge/West Baton Rouge Parishes

Nighttime lane closures on the Mississippi River Bridge scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 11, 2014 have been cancelled. Nighttime lane closures on the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge will resume beginning Sunday, September 14th from 8:30 pm until 5:30 am. The inside left lanes, both eastbound and westbound will be closed. Lane closures on the Mississippi River Bridge will continue in the same manner for the next two months except for Friday and Saturday nights for LSU home football games.
The Mississipi River Bridge Cleaning, Painting, and Repair Project will continue until March 2016. The closed lanes will vary throughout the course of the project (inside or outside) dependent or required work each shift.
Wide loads in excess of 10 feet will need to contact the LA DOTD permit office for routing information until further notice.
