The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that on Monday, August 25, 2014 the height restriction while traveling on LA 417 under the east approach of the Atchafalaya River Bridge at Simmesport will be reduced to 12’6” due to the ongoing painting project. An additional press release will be issued informing the public once the reduced height restriction is lifted.
