LA 585 in Kilbourne, West Carroll Parish

UPDATE:
LA 585 in Kilbourne, West Carroll Parish is now open to all traffic. A lane closure will be utilized in the near future to install the top 2 inches of the pavement. Bump signs are located on the shoulders of both travel lanes before entering the work zone.
UPDATE:
Beginning Monday, September 15, 2014, LA 585 in Kilbourne, West Carroll Parish approximately 0.45 miles east of the intersection with LA 17 will be temporarily closed. The road closure is needed to construct a new drainage structure and new asphaltic surfacing. This work is anticipated to continue for approximately 7 days, weather permitting.
PERMIT/DETOUR
Detour routes will be signed and provided using LA 17 and LA 880 to guide traffic around the closure. These detour routes may be used by all traffic.

Due to an unforeseen conflict with an existing utility line, LA 585 in Kilbourne, West Carroll Parish will not be closed on Monday, August 25, 2014. A future road closure notification will be sent out once the conflicting utility line is relocated and construction can begin on the proposed drainage structure.
