I-20 Madison Parish WESTBOUND at LA 602-1 Interchange (Exit 173)

UPDATE: (9/25/2015) All work has been completed for this project.
UPDATE: 8/28/14 - The LA 602-1 Westbound Off Ramp and the LA 602-1 Westbound On Ramp are now reopened to traffic. Note that minor work is still occurring at this location so be aware of the construction workers and flaggers as they finish this area.
UPDATE: Due to weather conditions, the LA 602-1 westbound off ramp and on ramp closure has been delayed and will now occur on Tuesday, August 26 through Friday, August 29, 2014.
The LA 602-1 westbound off ramp (Exit 173) and LA 602-1 westbound on ramp to I-20 will be closed on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 and will remain closed through Saturday, August 23, 2014.
The purpose of this closure is to allow for scheduled construction ramp improvements.
Restrictions:
During closure no vehicles will be allowed to exit westbound from I-20 at Exit 173 to LA 602-1 (Richmond) nor will they be allowed to enter westbound from LA 602-1 (Richmond) to I-20.
Detour:
A detour has been established by taking Exit 182 (Mound) to LA 602-2 north to US 80 then west to LA 602-1 for exiting traffic. Additionally by taking US 80 west to US 65 (Tallulah) then south to I-20 traffic can enter I-20 westbound.
