I-20 Madison Parish EASTBOUND at LA 602-1 Interchange (EXIT 173)

UPDATE: (9/25/2015) All work has been completed for this project.
UPDATE: 8/20/14 - The LA 602-1 Eastbound Off Ramp and the LA 602-1 Eastbound On Ramp are now reopened to traffic. Note that minor work is still occurring at this location so be aware of the construction workers and flaggers as they finish this area.
The LA 602-1 eastbound off ramp (Exit 173) and LA 602-1 eastbound on ramp to I-20 will be closed on Monday, August 18, 2014 and will remain closed through Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
The purpose of this closure is to allow for scheduled construction ramp improvements.
Restrictions:
During closure no vehicles will be allowed to exit eastbound from I-20 at Exit 173 to LA 602-1 (Richmond) nor will they be allowed to enter eastbound from LA 602-1 (Richmond) to I-20.
Detour:
A detour has been established by taking Exit 171 (Tallulah) to US 65 north to US 80 then east to LA 602-1 for exiting traffic. Additionally by taking US 80 east to LA 602-2 (Mound) then south to I-20 traffic can enter I-20 eastbound.
