SPN H.009600: I-12 (Tangipahoa Parish Line to Ponchatolawa Creek)
August 8, 2014
There will be lane closures of the inside (left) Westbound lane between Milepost 60.2 (between the Tchefuncte River Bridge and LA 22 interchange) and Milepost 57.20 (LA 1077 Underpass) continuing through Monday, August 11, 2014. Work will then shift to the outside (right) Westbound lane between Milepost 57.20 and Milepost 52.91 (Tangipahoa Parish line) through Thursday, August 14, 2014. The contractor may only work between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (weather permitting) while crews cold plane and overlay the roadway.
Permit/Detour Section
On Sunday and Monday nights, Westbound motorists may exit I-12 at US 190, East on US 190 to LA 22, West on LA 22 to LA 1077 North, North on LA 1077 to I-12 West.
On Tuesday through Saturday nights, Westbound motorists may exit I-12 to LA 1077 North, North on LA 1077 to US 190 West, West on US 190 to LA 445 South, South on LA 445 to I-12 West.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times.
