LA 116; Rapides Parish; Milepost 6.920; Control Section 152-01
The Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development (LA DOTD) advises the public that LA 116 has been closed to thru traffic to repair a damaged cross drain pipe near Esler Field Air Port near Mile Post 6.9. The closure is expected to last approximately seven days.
Permit/Detour Section
All thru traffic traveling from the east will be detoured west along LA 28 to US 167 Expressway, then North on US 167 Expressway to US 165, then north on US 165 to LA 116. In the opposite direction traffic will be detoured south on US 165 to US 167 Expressway, then south on US 167 Expressway to LA 28, then east on LA 28 back to LA 116.
