UPDATE: (9/25/2015) All work has been completed.
UPDATE: 08/16/2014 - The LA 183 Westbound Off Ramp and the LA 183 Westbound On Ramp are now reopened to traffic. Note that minor work is still occurring at this location so be aware of the construction workers and flaggers as they finish this area.
Update: Due to recent weather, the LA 183 westbound off ramp (Exit 145) and LA 183 westbound on ramp to I-20 is rescheduled and will be closed from Thursday, August 14, 2014 through Saturday, August 16, 2014.
Update: Due to recent weather, the LA 183 westbound off ramp (Exit 145) and LA 183 westbound on ramp to I-20 is rescheduled and will be closed from Tuesday, August 12, 2014 through Thursday, August 14, 2014.
The LA 183 westbound off ramp (Exit 145) and LA 183 westbound on ramp to I-20 will be closed on Saturday, August 9, 2014 and will remain closed through Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
The purpose of this closure is to allow for scheduled construction ramp improvements.
Restrictions:
During closure no vehicles will be allowed to exit westbound from I-20 at Exit 145 to LA 183 (Holly Ridge) nor will they be allowed to enter westbound from LA 183 (Holly Ridge) to I-20.
Detour:
A detour has been established by taking Exit 148 (Dunn) to LA 609 north to US 80 then west to LA 183 for exiting traffic. Additionally by taking US 80 west to LA 583 (Bee Bayou) then south to I-20 traffic can enter I-20 westbound.
