Metairie, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that on Wednesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 24, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., there will be alternating single lane closures on Veterans Memorial Boulevard at Downs Boulevard to allow crews to replace traffic loops.
All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through this and other highway work zones. Also, be alert for the presence of construction workers and equipment.
