Road or Lane Closure Lafourche Parish - LA 655 - "Old" Lockport Swing Bridge

The LA 655 swing bridge crossing Bayou Lafourche in Lockport, LA with be closed to vehicular traffic from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 (noon) on Tuesday July 22, 2014. This closure is needed in order to allow State bridge inspectors to perform a routine inspection of the bridge's structural, mechanical and electrical components.
Alternate routes around the closure are as follows:
LA 655 south to LA 1 south to the Belle Vue Swing Bridge east to LA 308.
LA 308 south to the Belle Vue Swing Bridge west to LA 1 north to LA 655 north.
