LA 16, LIVINGSTON PARISH, EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE IS NOW OPEN!!!

THIS REPAIR IS COMPLETED AND THE LANE IS NOW OPEN!!!
LA 16 Southbound, 1/4 Mile South of LA 64/1026 Interchange, the outside lane will be closed today, Monday, July 14, 2014 at 8:30am. This lane closure is necessary for crews to perform emergency road and shoulder repair. This work is expected to be complete by Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 5:00pm.
One lane will remain open at all times. However, motorists who wish to avoid this closure may take LA 64/LA 1028 as an alternate route.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
