I-20 Richland Parish WESTBOUND at LA 609 Interchange

UPDATE: (9/25/2015) All work has been completed.
UPDATE: The LA 609 Westbound Off Ramp and the LA 609 Westbound On Ramp are now reopened to traffic. Note that minor work is still occurring at this location so be aware of the construction workers and flaggers as they finish this area.
UPDATE: Due to weather conditions, the LA 609 westbound off ramp and on ramp closure has been delayed and will now occur on Tuesday, July 22 through Friday, July 25, 2014.
The LA 609 Westbound off ramp (Exit 148) and LA 609 Westbound on ramp to I-20 will be closed on Friday, July 18, 2014 and will remain closed until Monday, July 21, 2014.
The purpose of this closure is to allow for scheduled construction ramp improvements.
Restrictions:
During closure no vehicles will be allowed to exit westbound from I-20 at Exit 148 to LA 609 (Dunn) nor will they be allowed to enter westbound from LA 609 (Dunn) to I-20.
Detour:
A detour has been established by taking Exit 153 (Delhi) to LA 17 north to US 80 then west to LA 609 for exiting traffic. Additionally by taking US 80 west to LA 183 (Holly Ridge) then south to I-20 traffic can enter I-20 westbound.
