La 92-1 at US 90 Lane closure in Lafayette Parish

From Friday, July 11, 2014 to Saturday, July 12, 2014 both the left turn lane from US 90 East and the right turn lane from US 90 West at the La 92-1 (Smede Hwy) intersection will be closed. La 92-1 (Smede Hwy) will be reduced to one lane at its intersection with US 90 for the construction of a concrete island. The result of this work will be a permanent RIGHT TURN ONLY onto US 90 West from La 92-1 (Smede Hwy). This work will occur Friday through Saturday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. weather permitting.
No permit loads will be allowed onto La 92-1 (Smede Hwy) during this closure. Emergency vehicles have access through the area.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
