Emergency Turnlane Closure at
Jackson Street (LA 1208-3) and Foisy Street
(between 6th Street & Foisy Street)
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that the City of Alexandria is initiating an EMREGENCY TURN LANE CLOSURE. The left turn lane on Jackson Street (LA 1208-3) turning left (west) onto Foisy Street between 6th Street and Foisy Street will be CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to a wastewater pipe malfunction. This area will remain closed until such time that repairs are completed through the City of Alexandria. Due to the nature of the work, delays can be expected and alternate routes should be used whenever possible.
Permit/Detour section
Local and through traffic will be maintained at all times. Therefore, there are no designated detours at this time.
