Intermittent closures I-220 westbound from I-20 to Red River, Bossier Parish

Motorist are advised that beginning on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, there will be intermittent lanes closures on I-220 westbound from I-20 to Red River to install Interstate signage. All work will be performed at night and is expected to last one week, weather permitting.

• Tuesday, July 8, 2014 the right lane of I-220 westbound will be closed from the I-20 interchange in Bossier to the Red River from 8:15 PM to 6:15 AM. This closure is expected to last 3 days.

• Friday, July 11, 2014, the on-ramp from I-20 westbound to I-220 westbound (Exit # 26) will closed between the hours of 8:15 PM to 6:15 AM. This closure is expected to last 1 day.
o Alternate Route: Traffic to exit at Industrial Drive, Exit #23, to Hwy 80 east to I-220.

• Saturday, July 12, 2014, the on-ramp from I-20 eastbound to I-220 westbound (Exit # 26) will closed between the hours of 8:15 PM to 6:15 AM. This closure is expected to last 1 day.
o Alternate Route: Traffic to exit at LA 157, Exit #33, to I-20 westbound.

• Sunday, July 13, 2014, the right lane of I-220 westbound will be closed from the I-20 interchange in Bossier to the Red River from 8:15 PM to 6:15 AM. This closure is expected to last 3 days.

This work is associated with the installation of Interstate signs on the interstate.
