UPDATE
LA 544 between LA 151 and LA 563 is now open to traffic.
Beginning Monday, July 7, 2014, LA 544 in Lincoln Parish, 2.5 miles east of LA 151 or 3.3 miles west of LA 563, will be temporarily closed. The road closure is required to perform drainage improvements, raise the elevation of the roadway and is expected to last approximately two weeks.
Detour routes will be provided and signed. All vehicles must detour using LA 563 to LA 146 to LA 151.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the look out for work crews and their equipment.
