Mile Post 1.170; Control Section 009-32
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 158, Grant Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at Milepost 1.170 and is on Control Section 009-32. The closure has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 7:00 AM with a reopening to traffic at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the track panel and the crossing surface.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 158 to US 71 to LA 8 to LA 158. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
