River Road, (Northbound and Southbound) in Denham Springs, from Government Street to Centerville Street, BOTH directions of travel within these project limits will be reduced to single lanes at various locations beginning on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 through Thursday, July 3, 2014 between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday through Friday). One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. This lane closure will allow crews to install new drainage structures and related work.
Motorists may take Range Ave (LA 16/3002) as an alternate route to avoid lane closures during construction.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
