Paths to Progress Update (June 12, 2014)

Baronne (Canal - Calliope): Temporary closure of the 100 and 200 blocks of Baronne is rescheduled to start today, June 12 at 2 p.m. and open to traffic by Sunday, June 15.  The temporary closure will facilitate cold milling operations. The Common Street and Gravier Street intersections will remain open to traffic and only close intermittently for 30 to 45 minutes. Access to the businesses and parking garages within the project limits will be allowed. Also, one lane remains open to traffic between Gravier and Calliope as crews continue pavement patching and ADA ramp installations.

South Peters (Canal - Calliope): Pavement patching continues near the Harrah’s location. Asphalt paving to start next week. Paving is a moving operation. Street intersections within close proximity to the paver will be temporarily closed for 30 – 45 minutes at a time, in addition to lane-closures already in place.

Burgundy (Esplanade - Elysian Fields): Paving operations are complete. Minor work list items underway. All lanes are open to traffic.
