Lane and Ramp Closures Planned for I-10 in Metairie

Metairie, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following lane and ramp closures this week to allow crews to stripe the roadway:

Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5 between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

• Alternating double lane closures on I-10 eastbound, between Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Clearview Parkway.
• Closure of the Veterans Memorial Boulevard on-ramp to I-10 eastbound.
• Closure of the Clearview Parkway exit-ramp from I-10 eastbound. Traffic will be detoured to Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
• Alternating double lane closures on I-10 westbound, between Clearview Parkway and Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through this and other highway work zones. Also, be alert for the presence of construction workers and equipment.
