LA 1036, from JCT LA 442 to St. Helena Parish line, north of Holden will be under construction beginning June 9, 2014. This work is expected to be completed in December, 2014. Motorists should be prepared for intermittent delays beginning Monday, June 9, 2014 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily (weather permitting). Single lane closures may be necessary while crews remove and replace pipe, remove and replace the existing roadway base, install new asphalt pavement, and other related work.
This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads will be under permit restrictions.
