The Houma Navigation Canal Bridge crossing the Houma Navigation Canal on LA 661 in Houma, LA will be closed to vehicular traffic in accordance with the schedule shown below:
• Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Friday, June 6, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Saturday, June 7th, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Monday, June 9, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Friday, June 13, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Saturday, June 14th, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Monday, June 16, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.
• Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 0830 to 4:30 P.M.

These closure(s) to vehicular traffic are needed in order to allow LADOTD’s contractor to perform electrical work as part of a multi-million dollar rehabilitation project.
Alternate routes available around the Houma Navigation Canal bridge closure(s) are as follows:
LA 661 (South Van Ave.) to LA 57 (Grand Caillou Road) to LA 3040 (Tunnel Blvd.) to LA 182 (Barrow St.) to LA 315.
LA 661 (South Van Ave.) to LA 24 (Twin Span Bridge) to LA 182 (Barrow St.) to LA 315.
