TONIGHT'S TEMPORARY I-10 CLOSURE PLANNED FOR METAIRIE IS POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER

Closures Planned for I-10 in Metairie
Interstate 10 to be Temporarily Closed Wednesday Night

Metairie, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that I-10 east and westbound, between Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Clearview Parkway, will be closed Wednesday, May 28 between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. for approximately 30 minutes to allow crews to hang trusses over the roadway.

The following lane and ramp closures are also scheduled to allow crews to stripe the roadway:

Tuesday, May 27 between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
• Right lane closure on I-10 eastbound, between Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Clearview Parkway.
• The Clearview Parkway on-ramp to I-10 eastbound will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Causeway Boulevard for entry to I-10 eastbound.
• The I-10 westbound exit-ramp to Veterans Memorial Boulevard will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Clearview Parkway.
Wednesday, May 28 between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.:
• Left lane closure on I-10 eastbound, between Veterans Memorial Boulevard and Clearview Parkway.
• The I-10 eastbound exit-ramp to Clearview Parkway will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
• Alternating double lane closures on I-10 westbound, between Clearview Parkway and Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
• The I-10 westbound exit-ramp to Veterans Memorial Boulevard will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Clearview Parkway.
All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through this and other highway work zones. Also, be alert for the presence of construction workers and equipment.
