Route LA 112: Approximately 2.9 miles north of the Intersection of LA 112 and LA 113;
Rapides Parish; Project 4400004952; Control Section 141-03
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on May 27th, 2014 at 8:00am, LA 112 located approximately 2.9 miles north of the Intersection of LA 112 and LA 113 will be closed to all traffic for approximately 30 days. The purpose of this closure it to allow for the replacement of the two existing metal drainage structures with five new reinforced concrete box culverts.
Permit/Detour Section
LA 112 Northbound:
LA 112 Northbound traffic is to detour West onto LA 113 at Union Hill, then turn North onto LA 463 at Pitkin, at the Intersection of LA 463 and LA 121 turn East, which will direct traffic back to LA 112.
LA 112 Southbound:
LA 112 Southbound traffic is to detour West on LA 121, then turn South onto LA 463, upon arrival at the Intersection of LA 463 and LA 113 in Pitkin turn east onto LA 113, which will direct traffic back to LA 112.
No permitted loads will be allowed during the road closure.
