The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development’s Paths to Progress Program announces the temporary closure of Burgundy Street between Esplanade Avenue and Elysian Fields Avenue, scheduled to start on Thursday, May 15 and last three to five days.

The temporary closure will facilitate paving operations. Please use alternative routes, including St. Claude Avenue and Royal Street.

All planned construction activities may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen events. Paths to Progress appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution.
